Soul Knight is a roguelite game openly inspired by Enter the Gungeon. In this game, you will have to navigate the darkest depths of a dungeon full of dangerous threats... and weapons. There are more than a hundred different weapons that you can use to kill the monsters that you meet along the way.
The gameplay in Soul Knight is probably its greatest strength. On the left part of the screen, you'll have a virtual D-pad for moving your character, while on the right, you'll find the action buttons. Aiming, on the other hand, is very accurate and even comes with a little automatic help.
As with other games of this kind, the design of the levels is completely random, so you'll never play the same game twice. Each time you enter a new room of the dungeon, you'll have to kill all the monsters you find in it before you'll be allowed to advance.
As you play and get coins, you can also buy all kinds of improvements for your characters. In the beginning, it will be pretty difficult to survive a decent amount of time in the dungeon, but as you improve the abilities of your characters, you'll be able to do more and more.
Soul Knight is a great roguelite, but if it's missing anything, it's originality. The game is obscenely similar to Enter the Gungeon, although this doesn't change the fact that it's a fun and addictive game.
